The new 2023 Rating Revaluation period commenced on 1st April. The changes being introduced on this property tax are the most radical in over 30 years with a move to shorter 3 yearly revaluations (from the 5 yearly pattern introduced in 1990) and a near wholesale shift in responsibility for the 'maintenance' of the Rating List via the introduction of a new 'Duty to Notify' provision for ratepayers.
